Our Optometrist
Dr. Carter graduated from Gorman High School, a small central Texas town in 1990. From there, he attended Tarleton State University where he obtained a BS in Biology in 1994.
Dr. Carter attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating with honors in 1997. After graduating, Dr. Carter purchased Paris Optical in downtown Paris, TX. While in Paris, he was named Eye Doctor of the year multiple times, served on the city council, was a member of the Kiwanis Club, and the Paris Community Theatre Board of Directors, to name a few.
In 2011, Dr. Carter sold Paris Optical in order to move to McKinney and pastor a church plant, Calvary McKinney. He continued to practice optometry working with a company that provides eye care to patients in nursing homes across North Texas, and then working at Eyecare of Greenville.
Dr. Carter loves Northeast Texas and serving the people here! Bringing professional eyecare and coordinating with other healthcare professionals in the area.
